What changed
FactToon began as a large collection of quirky fact pages. In 2026 the site was rebuilt around a stricter rule: weird is welcome; invented is not. Pages that could not meet the current sourcing standard were retired instead of being kept for page count.
What we publish
We focus on evergreen questions in everyday science, food science, the human body, animals, Earth and space, plus carefully sourced weird history. We avoid personalized medical, legal and financial advice.

The bold short answer gives you the useful core. The rest explains the mechanism, flags uncertainty and links the sources used to check the claim. That source list is part of the product, not decoration.
