Gravity you can change
If you dropped it from 0.01 m on Earth…
Ideal fall time and impact speed, with air resistance deliberately left out so the gravity effect stays visible.
Fall time0.045 s
Time to fall0.045 st = √(2h/g)
Impact speed0.44 m/sv = √(2gh)
Gravity used9.80665 m/s²standard gravity
The useful assumption
This is ideal free fall, not a skydiving model
The calculator assumes constant gravitational acceleration and zero aerodynamic drag. Real objects in an atmosphere accelerate differently once drag becomes important; shape, mass, air density and speed all matter.
That simplification is the point here: with the air removed from the model, you can isolate how local gravity changes the same drop.
